I inked the piece on the left. The F-ing awesome Dirty Pair Cover.
Throughout the years I've tried to explain to people just how big this piece was. So here's a nice comparison photo [I'm assuming taken by the collector of these fine pieces, lucky guy!].
It's a bit deceptive at first, because of the other GIANT cover on the right. That middle piece is a standard comic page, usually checking in around the 11x17 mark [that should give you some perspective]. I had alway remembered the actual paper height being somewhere around four feet, looks about right.
Let me say, when Adam was working on this piece, he would come into my room and tell me what he had in mind. I was absolutely drooling as I watched him working on the piece, couldn't wait to ink it! The size was a bit daunting, but I have a big architect-style table, so it wasn't too much trouble. I inked it standing up to reach all the areas.

Wow. Thanks for sharing, this is really enlightening. I'm a huge fan of Adam's work,I' never suspected he'd done anything beyond the standard 10x15 live area. The one on the right looks to be about 20x30 and the Dirty Pair is at least 24x36! But still, great work!
